Burial with military rites were held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Bowen served his country in the U.S. Army dur- ing the Korean Conflict and in Greenland. Mr. Bowen was preced- ed in death by his parents, Garland Bowen and Nellie Poole Bowen and his broth- ers, Howard and Dean Bowen. Burial followed in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC with militiary honors by the U.S. Military Honor Guard and American Legion Post 243. Mr. Hamrick served our coun- try in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam and was also in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Hamrick and Marie Elizabeth Guyton Hamrick; and 1 brother, Joe Hamrick. He was preceded in death by his parents George Palmer DeBrule and Nellie Head DeBrule and his sister, Libby Debrule Helms. William Joshua Logan and sisters, Lillian Logan Washburn, and Sarah Logan King.
