Highway 64 will be closed from the junction of U.S. 41 to the junction of S.R. 57. The closure will allow contractor's crews to deep patch the roadway between Brown and Dorsey sts. with concrete. The concrete re- quires approximately 3- 4 days to cure before traf- fic can be allowed back onto the roadway. It is an- ticipated the road will be re- opened to traffic by the end of the day on Friday, June 6. No through vehicle traf- fic will be allowed; howev- er, local residents will have access to the points of clo- sure. The official detour will follow U.S. 41, S.R. 168 and S.R. 57. Dave O'Mara Contrac- tor, of North Vernon, Ind., was awarded the contract in late 2013 and it includes deep patching the roadway, milling off existing pave- ment and replacing with new asphalt.
