The Goat Festival is supported by local businesses and contributions from private citizens. Donations and sponsors make this possible. Any amount helps and can be sent to: Spindale Goat Festival P.O. Box 504 Spindale, NC 28160. There is still room for a few more vendors. We encourage U.S. made goods, and ask that vendors have 80% or more U.S. made goods. So far, our vendors are coming in at about 90% U.S. made goods. A portion of our proceeds goes to Heifer International, to pro- vide dairy goats for food and income to needy families around the world. Last year, we helped raise the money to send 11 dairy goats to families. Contact us, to fi nd out how you can help. This year’s sponsors so far, include: Looking Glass Arts, Bob- bi, Round Mountain Creamery, ADGA, Moose Vending, BB&T, ADGA Products Promotions Committee and the American La- Mancha Club. The Dairy Goat Show part of this Festival is Coordinated and Directed by the NC Cooperative Extension. The NC Coopera- tive Extension does many things in our community that support education, agriculture and supply resources to the farmers who grow our food. We are very grateful for all that they have done to help support this festival that strengthens the fabric of our community while educating people about dairy goats. No dogs allowed anywhere within the Festival area. For additional information and a full schedule of events, visit www.GoatFestival.com.
