By James Capozella South Gibson Star-Times Writer staff@sgstartimes.com The family-owned Lollipop Tree, an Evansville children's and women's clothing shop on Virginia St., features casual to formal attire presented in an inviting fashion by a pair of sisters for the past seven years. Courtney Martin and Ashley Carroll have added women's wear and accessories in the last year. Courtney and Ashley feature a nice southern Gibson County connection because the two gals who model the contemporary fashions, available at the 5625 E. Virginia Street location in Evansville, are Haubstadt residents Anne Scherer and Emily Stevens."All of our modeling is done by these two girls," said Courtney. The store offerings can be found at www.thelollipoptree.com. Courtney and Ashley post the latest items and promotions on Facebook routinely for both women and children. The Lollipop Tree is easily accessed off North Burkhardt Road to the west on Virginia Street. The shop is located across from Play It Again and near the Nagasaki restaurant. The children's and women's boutique hours are from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturdays. Courtney said, "We've been here almost seven years now and added women's clothing a year ago with some feature brands." The children's offerings at The Lollipop Tree originated with newborn through size 6X and has expanded from new born to size 16 in girls' and newborn to size 5 in boys'.
