ul I wish I would have known that academics are more important than the social aspect of high school and twinning is winning. Amanda Chase I wish I knew that teachers don't like when you talk in class. I think it was a good experience, if you don't like the situation you're in, change it. Eric Schreter Jazmin Dittner Freshman Reflections F reshman year, the one year that everyone seems to dread. One year absolutely full of change. The year being in a brand new school that is so much bigger than your middle school. The year that makes or breaks you. Freshman year is the year you meet new people and experience new experiences that you never expected. The fear of fitting in and making sure you don't make yourself look like a fool in front of all the upper classmen. Freshman year comes with all sorts of worry and confusion. However, freshman year isn't as scary as it appears to be. This year goes by in a blink of an eye. Even if it feels like it drags on, before you know it it will be senior year and you will be walking across the football field recieving your diploma. And on top of that you will reflect upon your time at Red Bluff High School and know that even if you didn't have a wonderful experience, at least you had one. Personally, my freshman year was absolutely my break or make it year. I completely slacked off which is coming back to haunt me. Rather than being an involved, academic student, I neglected my studies and focused more on friends and the high school drama. Which now as a senior, I know now that it is not as it seems at the time. I also wish I would have been more involved in Red Bluff High and had joined more clubs. I feel as though Freshman year is made out to be a horror story, when in all actuality it is a fun, exciting steps into the rest of your life.
