He was born February 22, 1941 in Charlotte, NC to the late James Andrew Horton and the late Katherine Nash Horton. Mr. Horton served our country in the U.S. Air Force. James is survived by his wife, Glenda Horton, his two grandsons; and his step son, Barry Brindle. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, Brian Scott Horton; his brother, Kenneth Horton; and his step son, Erik Stephen Horton.
