Born in Cleveland County, on November 8, 1937 he was a son of the late Doctor Zemmie Ledford and Ruby Mae Swink Ledford. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and John Ledford and a sister, Ann Camp. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Parris Ledford; daughter, Kathy Dwiggins of Shelby; son, Danny Ledford and wife Lisa of Shelby; broth- er, Jerry Ledford and wife Marie of Marion; two grand- sons; and two great grand- children. A memorial service was held July 26, 2023 at Stamey- Tysinger Funeral Home with the Dr. Bulo Price officiating. The inurnment followed in the Rose Hill Memorial Park. FRANK "EDDIE" GREENE Frank "Eddie" Greene, age 66, of Forest City, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. He was the son of the late Frank and Dovie Ledford Greene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sue Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Melanie McBrayer Greene; daughters, Meleah G. Hilton (Jonathan) of Shelby and Chloe G. Dixon (Nathan) of Seneca, SC; a granddaugh- ter; sisters, Annette Landis (Freddy) and Janice Vickers (Joey) all of Forest City; and brothers-in-law, Don McBrayer (Sandy) of Mooresboro and Bobby Campbell of Ellenboro.
