She was born in 1935 and was the daughter of the late Lucille and Ray Bowles. She is survived by her brothers, Richard Morgan Bowles and Lawrence Thompson Bowles. JEFFERY ROBERT CALLAHAN Jeffery Robert Callahan, 37, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023. LITHA QMY DELLINGER SHULL Mrs. Litha Qmy Dellinger Shull, 92, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Mrs. Shull was born on June 18, 1930 in Gaston County, NC a daughter of the late Alfred Lee Dellinger and Dovie Chapman Dellinger. In addition to her par- ents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Shull, Sr.; a daughter, Linda "Crockett" Talbert and a great grandson. Survivors include a son, Bob Shull, Jr. of Cherryville; two daughters, Jane Wright of Maiden and Mary Ann Mayhew and husband Troy of Vale; eleven grandchil- dren, twenty-one great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren. A celebration of life ser- vice was held February 2, 2023 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home with Lisa Roach officiating. Burial was private. PHILIP ANDY BERRY Philip Andy Berry, 51, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on February 1, 2023. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late William Thomas and Annie Mae Childers Berry and was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lou Ann Berry. Mr. Berry served our country in the North Carolina National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Angela Michelle Berry, of the home; chil- dren: William Berry (Ashley), Christopher Speicher (Laura), Michael Speicher (Jocelyn McKie), Joshua Speicher (Morgan), Taylor Berry, and Anthony Berry, all of Kings Mountain, NC; four grandchildren; siblings: Tommy Berry (Beverly), Charlie Berry (Debbie), and Brenda Cogdell (Johnny), all of Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Cleveland County, on July 15, 1935, he was a son of the late Albert Walton Greene and Corene Grigg Greene. In addition to his parents he preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Spangler Greene; two brothers, Gilbert Greene and wife Nancy and Albert Greene; a sister-in-law Shirley F. Greene; a brother- in-law, Paul Reichle. He is survived by his two sons, David Greene and wife Karen of Gastonia and Tom Greene and wife Tina of Des Moines, Iowa; a daughter, Phillis White and husband Joey of Shelby; three broth- ers, Bobby Greene of Shelby, Randall Greene and wife Glenda of Shelby and Henry Greene and wife Susan of Mint Hill; a sister, June Carol Reichle of Fayetteville; a sister-in-law, Sara Greene; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Born in Cleveland County, on September 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Alexander Newton and Bertha Lunette Lail Newton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Parker, Sr.; four brothers, Bill Newton, Harold Newton, Joe Newton and Charles Newton and three sisters, Leona West, Linda Newton and Nancy Towne.
