A tune recorded over 40 years ago sure did speak worlds about how J. Justin Harper many people play guitar. So it got me to thinking, "How many people in Cleveland County play music?" I want to know how many musicians would consider themselves 'on call' for playing or recording music. Wouldn't it be great to build a network of players, composers, and singers for our local area? There are bands that would love to know who the 'on call' saxophone player or trumpet player is for this area. Who is vocally ready to sing background vocals or even participate in a community choir for a weekend recording session? Are you a talented musician looking for a gig or a group of people who wish to start a project? Here is an example of talents that we need: singers (soprano, alto, tenor, bass), guitar (dobro, rhythm, lead, bass etc.), ALL orchestral instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, woodwinds, brass, etc.), songwriters, and the list goes on!
