Born in South Carolina on December 19, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Allen Sutherland Bashore, Sr. and Anne Elliott Boozer Bashore. Survivors include her son, Joe Clark of Lawndale; three sisters, (twin sister) Patricia Martin and husband Russell of Chaplin, SC, Lisa Burch and husband Rod of Prosperity, SC and Lynn Pry and husband Michael of Greenville, SC; and brother, Allen Bashore, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Anderson, SC. SUE POTTS BERRY Sue Potts Berry, 86, of Shelby, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. Born in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Hamrick Potts and Lois Frances Barrow Potts. In addition to her par- ents, she was preceded Edison and Lydia Crow Mull. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Marvin Lee (Jackie) Lutz III (of Glenview, IL) and Thomas Luther (Dana) Lutz (of Dallas, TX); four grand- children. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee Lutz, Jr. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 27, at 11:00 AM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, with visitation after- ward at the family home. Born in Cleveland County on January 24, 1946, Mr. Bell was the son of the late Jack Howard and Margaret Holcomb Bell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Joy Yelton Bell, and one sister, Peggy Goins. He is survived by three children, Mark Bell and wife Joan of Shelby, Alecia Chinn and husband Andy of Wilmington, NC, and Jason Bell and wife Kimberly of Jacksonville, NC; three sib- lings, Rex Bell and wife Linda of Shelby, Doris Blanton of Boiling Springs, and Mickey Bell of Gaffney, SC; thirteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Born in Cleveland County on August 27, 1929, Mr. Blanton was the son of the late John Samuel Blanton, Sr and Garva Ella Harrill Blanton. He was also pre- ceded in death by six sib- lings: Beatrix, Annette, Jesse, John, Jr., Ken, and Harrill (Bus). He is survived by one sis- ter, Sara Caroline Blanton Dedmon.
