STOP HOARDING AND START CREATING! A few years ago, the Neal Senior Center offered a class in "Button Art", which is creating interesting artwork with buttons. The response was very positive, so it's being offered again! If you have a bunch of buttons you've collected over the years, get them out and create a beautiful piece of artwork! This would be a great time to get started on Christmas gifts! The Neal Senior Center is offering a four-part series in "Button Art", which will begin on Thursday, September 1, from 1PM-2:30PM. It will meet weekly through September 22. The class is free of charge, though participants will need to bring a canvas board. Additional buttons will be provided, and the class will be instructed by local artist Rose Addington. The class has 15 slots available and will be given on a first come, first served basis. To pre-register, please call the Neal Senior Center at 704/482-3488. In the 1960's, remember watching the "Beach Party" movies and how much fun everyone had? Experience that same fun again in 2022!
