Rd. 900 S., Oakland City, Indiana 47660, phone (812) 318-7124, proposes the following blasting schedule. e blasting area consists of approximately 20 acres located south and east of Oatsville, IN, in: Parts of the S ½ of the NW ¼, N ½ of the SW ¼ of Section 27 all in Township 1 South, Range 9 West, Pike County, Indiana. Any blasting at the above location will occur between sunrise and sunset, Monday through Sunday. ALL BLASTING OPERATIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED ON EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Blasting operations will not be conducted aer sunrise or before sunset except when emergency situations or other unavoidable hazardous situations require unscheduled detonation. All standard warning and safety procedures will be followed during any such unscheduled detonation. Access to the blasting area will be controlled by mine personnel guarding the access roads to the blasting area ten minutes prior to the start of blasting. Control of access to the blasting area will be in effect until an inspection can be made and travel in the area can safely resume. One minute prior to detonation of a charge an audible warning signal will be sounded consisting of three (3) short blasts on a horn. When detonation of explosives has concluded, an all clear signal consisting of one (1) long blast on a horn will be sounded.
