Keith Thom- as talked Pike County history to the students and showed them some pioneer tools and clothing. First and second graders received an INDOT dona- tion of bicycle helmets for each student. Caiden Mal- lory, Trinity Gross and Mylee Pride work on their ac- tivity sheets and put stickers on their helmets. Kole Aydelott shared his trapping knowledge and experience with his fellow fourth grade classmates. He brought some of his animal traps and hides to show to the students. Officer Paul fits Kynslee Hurst with a bicycle helmet. Nola Thompson, Rayne Stafford, Leah Cooper and Kaleigh Schultz enjoy the last days of school. Otwell Miller Academy's Student Council set a goal to reach collecting 1,000 items for Somebody's Place in Petersburg. Students Council members delivered and unloaded 1,100 items! Members received a tour of Somebody's Place and then treated to lunch 423 Smokehouse. Otwell Miller Academy's Director/Principal ac- cepted the challenge of being "Slimed" if students reached their goal of collecting 1,000 items for Some- body's Place. Sawyer Kabrick was awarded the "Golden Trash Can" award for always being a extra helping hand at school! Jr Miller-Kio took the role as Mr. Padgett very se- riously on "Dress like your favorite OMA Staff Mem- ber." Otwell Miller Academy's graduating Fifth Grade Class. "Small but Mighty!" Otwell Miller Academy students and staff enjoyed their last day of school at Holiday World! Santa made an appearance during OMA's field trip to Holiday World on the last day of school. Otwell Miller Academy's 2022 Hula hooping champions went to First Grade teacher Ash- lyn Hoffman and Kellcyn Riker.
