On Thursday, April 14, at 2 p.m., some of the residents and staff of Shelby's West War- ren and Marion West Manor residential homes took part in their always-popular Senior Adult Easter Egg Hunt. The event was held at the residen- tial site at West Warren, and according to Service Coordi- nator Ms. Tasha B. Watkins, it was "eggs-xactly" what the res- idents needed to get out in the sun and have a little fun. This was followed by a catered meal for the residents. Two golden eggs were part of the hidden, brightly colored eggs set all around the facility. They were found by residents Judi Jenkins and Raymond Surratt. Mr. Surratt said he has been a resident of the manor for about a year now, and Ms. Jenkins is a one-month resi- dent.
