He was born August 14, 1967 in Gaston County to Quay and Judy Turner Howell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daugh- ters, Brooke Davis and husband, TJ, and Heather Black; sister, Dena Howell Bridges and husband, Mike; and four grandchildren. Danny was born Thursday, September 27, 1973 in Union County, GA to the late Lake Weaver and Carlena Gibson Kimbrell. He is survived by his wife, Tonya Weaver; chil- dren, Taylor Weaver of Asheville, Tyler Weaver of Rutherfordton, Morgan Wilson (Billy) of Gaffney, Nick Elton (Porscha) of Rutherfordton, Skylar Doggett (Adam) of Mooresboro and Baylee Elton of Rutherfordton; brothers, Teddy Burchman WILLIE BELL BOYKINS HUNT Mrs. Willie Bell Boykins Hunt departed this life for her eternal rest on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at home. She was born on August 17, 1934 in Cleveland County, North Carolina to the late Willie and Leonia Bowden Boykins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hunt; one son, Tommy Surratt; one brother, Albert Lee Boykins; two sisters, Hettie Jean Culbreath and Joyce Hall; and two step-sons, Steven Dixon and Patrick Hunt. She is survived by one son, ZJ Surratt of the home; four sisters, Lena Mae Glenn, Ruth Brooks, Cynthia McShaw (Floyd) and Brenda Glenn (Joe) all of Shelby, NC; one brother-in-law, Pink Lee Hunt, Jr. (Pearline) and one sister-in-law, Maggree Hunt of Shelby, NC; two step-sons, Derrick Hunt of Washington, DC and Matrick Hunt (Sharon) of Shelby, NC; and seven grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and forty-five great-great grand- children. The funeral service for was held September 25, 2021 at Golden Ridge Baptist Church. Burial took place in the church cemetery. CHARLES ALBERT PARKS Deacon Charles Albert Parks, 63, of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Atrium Health- Cleveland in Shelby. He was born on September 29, 1957 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Other Parks and the late Marcella Eskridge Parks. of Rutherfordton, David Weaver of Lakeland, FL and Christopher Blalock of Demorest, GA; sister, Gina Estep (David) of Forest City; stepbrother, Jason Kimbrell of Forest City; a grand- daughter; and stepfather, Jimmy Kimbrell. A graveside service was held September 28, 2021 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Carver and Reverend Jesse Hardin officiating. Born in Cleveland County on September 28, 1965, he was the son of Joan Weathers Weaver of Shelby and the late Lannis Eric "Lanny" Weaver. Survivors include his wife, Kelly Weaver; four sons, Logan Weaver of Shelby, Caleb Weaver of Shelby, Brent Weaver of New York, and Blake Weaver of Kings Mountain; one daugh- ter, Leanna Weaver of Lawndale; and two sisters, Lisa Buckner and husband Lane of Candler and Ericka Martin and husband Marty of Shelby. The Funeral Service was held September 27, 2021 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Mike Gettys officiating. Born December 11, 1942 in Cleveland County, Julie was the daughter of the late David Sankey Lovelace and Minnie Roselle Causby Lovelace and was pre- ceded in death by her hus- band, Clyde Junior Oliver; three sisters, Viola Myers, Ruth Guiton, and Eveline Hamrick; and two brothers, Charles Lovelace and James Lovelace. Jimmy was born Wednesday, July 19, 1961 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Charles Rhodes and Frances Ramsey Rhodes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Rhodes. Prophet Charles Howard "Chuck" Kee, Jr. transi- tioned from this life to his eternal home on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Atrium Health- Cleveland in Shelby, NC. He was born on October 12, 1959 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Charles Howard Kee Sr. and the late Willie Byrd Kee. Mr. Kee served our country in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was pre- ceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandpar- ents. Born in Rutherford County, on September 15, 1933, he was the son of the late William Calvin Stinchcomb and Alice Pirkle Stinchcomb. Mr. Stinchcomb served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Elaine Houser Stinchcomb; two brothers, Curtis and Clarence Stinchcomb; and four sisters, Inez Blanton, Naomi Wright, Willie Mae Hicks and Shirley Ann Boggas. He is survived by his two sons, Richard Stinchcomb and wife, Glenda of Casar and Gene Stinchcomb of Fallston; two daugh- ters, Patricia Hamrick and husband, Brian and Jane Packard and husband, Neil all of Mooresboro; broth- er, Jimmy Stinchcomb of Fallston; sister, Evelyn Hannon of Kings Mountain; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
