David was born in Lincoln County, NC on July 10, 1941 a son of the late Coley Woods and Margaret Sisk Woods. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Scott and Doug Woods. Survivors include two daughters, Trina Dellinger and husband, Jack of Shelby and Tiffini Molesky and hus- band, Greg of Charlotte; two grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis "Peewee" Bumgardner and Jane Arrowood and husband, Dennis all of Cherryville. VIVIAN DENISE WARREN WARD Vivian Denise Warren Ward, 65, of Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Born in Cleveland County, on October 13, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Warren and Lillie Mae Oaks Warren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her four brothers, Jack, Walter, Gene, and Bill Warren and two sisters, Evelena Swink and Patricia Hamrick. She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Ward, son, Daniel Ward and wife, Tracy of Barhamsville, VA; daughter, Kelli Ward of Cherryville; and four grand- GERALD "JERRY" WILLIAMS Mr. Gerald "Jerry" Williams, 77, of Bessemer City passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Jerry was born on December 31, 1943 in Indiana and was the son of the late Homer Williams and Ada Eaton Williams. He was owner and operator of JW Welding in Dallas and was a member of In Christ Ministries of Bessemer City. Mr. Williams served our country in the U. S. Army. In addition to his parents he was pre- ceded in death by his wife, Monika Fehring Williams; a daughter, Rhonda Whitlock and three grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Chavis of Marietta, GA and Melody Etherton and husband, Micheal of Crouse; a son, Jerry Williams, II and wife Lisa, of Clayton; two sisters, Shirley Smith of Tampa, FL and Carol Selby of Indiana; and ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchil- dren and one great-great granddaughter. BOBBY LEE LANE Bobby Lee Lane, 94, of Shelby, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Claude and Carrie Hutchins Lane. Mr. Lane served our coun- try in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Graham Lane; and brothers, Paul, Tite, Jack "Cookie" and Jimmy Lane. He is survived by his sons, Larry Lane and wife, Heather and Rocky Lane and wife, Sheila, both of Shelby; two grandsons; a great grand- daughter; and daughter-in- law, Laurel Lane of Shelby. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Adkins and brother, Jimmy Hudson. She is survived by her son, Ricky Grigg, Jr. and wife, Trish of New Bern; daughter, Jonie Lingerfelt of Cherryville; brother, Clayton Hudson and wife, Mary of Casar; and six grandchil- dren.
