Sandra was born Friday, June 7, 1957 in Cleveland County to the late Junior McBee and Jeanette Bradley McBee. She is survived by her husband, Michael Kelly Lowery; two daughters, Kelly Michelle Lowery, Angie Marie Lowery; and a son, Michael Junior Lowery all of Mooresboro; two broth- ers, Ricky McBee (Terry) of Georgetown, SC and Wayne McBee of Forest City; and three grandchildren. Charles was born to the late Oscar and Morie Hamrick Mathis, February 9, 1938. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Faye Mathis; his brothers and sisters, Bud Mathis, Nelson Mathis, Horace Mathis, Willie Mae Willis, Sadie Wyatt and Otis Mathis, and infant sister. He is survived by his son, Charles Martin Mathis and wife, Monica; daughter, Bonnie Mathis and Richard Norman; and five grand- wife, Jeanette Camp Estep; daughter, Elaine Estep and his "adopted daughter" Kim Pearson, all of Shelby. Funeral services were held August 27, 2021 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Danny West and Rev. David Costner officiating. Burial followed in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery. Born in Lincoln County, on October 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James Blaine Sigmon and Martha Knight Sigmon. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two brother Fred and Wyle Sigmon and sister Frances Lingerfelt. She is survived by her hus- band, Glenn Arlo Morrison; son, Jerry Morrison; and a brother, Rev. Steve Sigmon of Lincolnton. A celebration of life ser- vice was held August 29, 2021 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. JOSHUA ANTHONY GRIFFIN Joshua Anthony Griffin, age 33, of Kings Mountain, NC died August 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Don and Joanne Griffin, Gregory McDonald and Quinn Alexander. Joshua was a wonderful Dad, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. His heart was bigger than his smile and he was always happy to help his family and friends on a moments notice. Josh loved camping and time with family and friends. He loved sunrises on the water fishing or in the woods hunting. He said it always reminded him of new beginnings and of God! Josh had a great sense of humor and always saw the best in people. DEANNA LYNN FRAZIER BREAKFIELD Deanna Lynn Frazier Breakfield, age 72, of Cherryville, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021. She was born February 28, 1949 in Gaston County to the late Carl Thomas and Martha Christine Miller Frazier. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Morgan Breakfield; and son, Woodrow Clifford Breakfield. Mrs. Breakfield is survived by her children, Kendrick "Ken" Breakfield and wife Anne Marie, Thomas Alan Breakfield and wife Mollie, and Melissa Sutherland and husband Jeff; daughter-in- law, Dawn Dorn and hus- band Lee; brothers, Johnny Frazier, and Mark Frazier; children and eleven great grandchildren. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Robert and Dellia Hensley Estep. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Eaker, Faye Dobbins and Virginia Ann Pintuff. TIMOTHY BROWN Mr. Timothy Brown, 55, of Shelby, NC passed away on August 13, 2021 in Hartford, CT. He was born July 26, 1966 in Mecklenburg County to Brenda Brown Richards and the late David Hopper. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents. Mr. Brown is sur- vived by two daughters, Courtney Brown and Timbra Thompson; his mother, Brenda Brown Richards; sisters, Pamela Morris and Carol Camp; and two grand- children. The funeral service for Mr. Brown was held August 28, 2021 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. RITA A. GAIZICK Rita A. Gaizick, age 90, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021. Rita was born Sunday, November 30, 1930 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late Joe Walsh and Helen Lee English Walsh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Gaizick; two sons, Mark Maynard and Thomas Gaizick and two daughters, Diane La Pierre and Gail Ramsey. Cassie was born in Burke County, on May 12, 1996. She was employed with Gaston Perio as a dental hygienist and was a mem- ber of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Cassie valued her family especially her nieces more than anything. She was free spirited and hard headed and was able to accomplish anything she set out to do.
