She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Kenneth and Margie Sigmon Hyde and was pre- ceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Hyde. FORREST JACKSON "JACK" QUEEN Forrest Jackson "Jack" Queen, 77, of Lenoir, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Born in Cleveland County, on October 1, 1943, he was the son of the late Alvin Queen and Lula Dora Turner Queen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Queen; a stepson, Randy Gillespie and a brother, Ralph Queen. Survivors include his fiancee, Marcella Wilson Dula; two stepsons, Bobby Gillespie of Hawkinsville, GA and Tony Gillespie of Shelby; a brother, Bob Queen of Lattimore; and eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. MARY ELIZABETH DUNCAN REID Mary Elizabeth Duncan Reid, 63, of Shelby, passed away on June 16, 2021. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daugh- ter of the late William and Moree Johnson Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne M. Duncan; and sister, Kay Duncan Jones. She is survived by her sons, Grant Reid and wife, Bernadette of Miami, FL and Logan Reid and wife Kelly of Shelby; three grand- sons; brothers, William "Bill" Duncan of Boiling Springs and Craig Duncan of Shelby; sister, Doris Duncan of Shelby; and sister-in-law, Mary Duncan of Tryon. Silvers, age 67, of Mooresboro, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021. David was born Saturday, October 17, 1953 in Rutherford County to the late George Carl Silver and Lillian Irene Lancaster. Mr. Silvers served our country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was pre- ceded in death by his wife, Donalee G. Silvers; daugh- ter, Pamela Miller; and broth- er, Dewitt Silver. Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 19, 1943, he was the son of the late John Zebbie Chapman and Viola Earl Chapman. In addition to his par- ents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray Chapman, Harold Chapman, Ralph Chapman and Jimmy Chapman.
