Born in Mecklenburg County on September 13, 1961 to his mother Kathryn "Kathie" Campbell and the late William "Bill" Campbell. In addition to his mother Craig is survived by his son; Eric Campbell and his three children and two daugh- ters: Amanda Campbell and her three children; and Chelsea Campbell and her two sons; as well as two sisters Melanie Stebbins and Mary Fowler and two brothers Scott and Douglas Campbell. Memorial service was held May 14, 2021 in the Chapel Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Sam Henderson, offi- ciating. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery. Kentucky on June 21, 1931, he was the son of the late Oscar Joseph Melton and Cora May Newton Melton. Mr. Melton served our country in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three broth- ers, Lennie Melton, Ronald Melton and Don Melton and one sister, Loenell Shipp. Survivors include his wife, Edris Blanton Melton; one son, Derek Melton and wife Kayla of Poplar Bluff, MO; one daughter, Kimberly Summey and husband Brian of Shelby; one brother, Carl Melton and wife Joyce of Charlotte; and three grand- children. The graveside service was held May 14, 2021 at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston, NC with the Rev. Dale Byrd officiating. Born in Cleveland County on June 15, 1970, Robbie is preceded in death by his father, Basil Eugene Fitch. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; and maternal grandmother. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Cheryl Fitch, three daughters: Nickki (Brian) Robinson, Ashley (Josh) Hodges, and Megan Fitch; eight grandchildren; his sis- ter, Hope Shaw; brother- in-law, Craig Shaw; step- mother, Mary Daniel; and his father and mother-in-law, Clyde and Rickie Freeman. Born in Kings Mountain, NC, Mrs. White was the Hamrick Cartee and the son of the late Donald Cartee and Jean Westmoreland Cartee. In addition to his wife, Mr. Cartee is survived by one son, Carl Cartee (Heather) of Franklin, TN; two daughters, Kelly Bedwell of Clarksville, TN, and Karen Cartee of Stanly, NM; one brother, Danny Cartee (Sandra) of Shelby; one sister, Connie Jones (Donnie) of Gaffney; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his broth- ers, Donnie, Gary, and Ronnie Cartee. Memorial services were held at Mt. Paran Baptist Church, Blacksburg, May 12, 2021 with Rev. LULA COLEEN WILSON Lula Coleen Wilson, 88, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on May 11, 2021. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Lonnie Venoy and Ozelle Hudson Brooks and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Wilson; a brother, Clinton Brooks; and a sister, Verleen Gregory. She is survived by her sons: Fleete L. Wilson and wife Lesia, Kings Mountain, NC and Baron L. Wilson and wife Sharon, Roxboro, NC; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings: Pat Carrigan, Ocala FL, and Lonnie Venoy Brooks Jr (Carol), Banner Elk, NC. Graveside service was held May 13, 2021 at Mountain Rest Cemetery with Reverend Dr. John daughter of the late Thomas (Tom) Ledbetter and the late Macie Ramsey Ledbetter. Surviving are her hus- band, Huey Edgar White; her sons, Eddie Dale White, Kenneth Darrell White, and Ricky Dana (Kristan) White all of Shelby; five grand- children; two great-grand- children; three sisters, Geraldine Robinson, Wilma (Vann) Parker and Louise Moss; two brother-in-laws, Charlie (Patsy) White and Vick (Madeline) White; and three sister-in-laws: Myrtie Putnam, Lilah Ledbetter and Edith Ledbetter. Shirley was preceded in death by her eight broth- ers: Willie Ledbetter, James Ledbetter, Daniel Ledbetter, Dave Ledbetter, Harvey Ledbetter, Marvin Ledbetter and Tommy Ledbetter; two sisters, Bertha Henson and Carolyn Hinson; mother and father-in-law, Garland Lee White and Lois McSwain White; brother-in-law, Glenn (Melrose) White; and sister- in-law, Sarah (Max) Long. Funeral service was held May 14, 2021 at Patterson Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
