G oing into senior year many thought that it would be like every other year money-wise. Most of us are already use to spending money on yearbooks, dances, and, well, that's about it. However, senior year there are many more things that we didn't know we would have to pay for, for example: Senior Trip, Prom, Homecoming, Winterformal, Sober Grad, cap and gowns, and yearbooks. That's a lot! Many seniors decide to pick up a job to pay for extra things like that. Personally, I chose to get a job to show my parents that I became an adult and independent, but mostly because growing up I began to feel weird and a little guilty of constantly asking my parents for money to pay for all of these things. Kyle Case, senior said, "It is a bit hard juggling school and work but in the end its worth it because it makes it a lot easier to pay for things." Getting a job is obviously going to be a bit tough at the beginning, because we are not used to juggling that much but after a while we learn to manage it. Kaitlyn Jolie, senior said, " I recommend for next year's seniors to either get a job or save up money over summer because senior year will be expensive." At the end of the year, all of these miscellaneous items add up and having extra cash will help all future seniors in the long run.
