A rts & Entertainment Page 5 May 31, 2013 They are back to end it all and all the other actors did. I was very excited at many points of the movie to see a lot of returning actors such as Black Doug and Jade the prostitute that Stu married in the first movie. It was a laugh out loud for a large portion of the movie and honestly for me I got a tad bit emotional towards the end of the movie knowing that this is the last Hangover movie that their will be. But as the movie ends there is a lot of themes that are shown. True love changes people, all good things must come to a sad end and don't hang out with the wrong crowd. Ultimately I was very happy with how the movie was and glad on how the trilogy ended. R.I.P Wolfpack. Ryan Fisher Sports- Editor It started in Vegas and then ended in Vegas, as the new addition of the Hangover arrives, the trilogy comes to a gloriously sad end. With a lot to live up to, the director Todd Phillips the director of all three of the Hangover movies made it a total toss up between which movie was better. The legendary beginning of the trilogy, or the end. For me I still think you can't beat the first Hangover because it was a movie that completely changed movies for me in a huge way. Anyways the movie starts off as all the movies before it starts off with a hilarious intro scene that sets the mood as to what the rest of the movie will be like and the movie did not dissapoint. The lead to the main conflict begins with Alan, Zach Galifinakis, shutting down an interstate highway and his father Sid, Jeffery Tambor, with him http://www.forafewmoviesmore.com having a heart attack because Alan has been off his meds and has been to much for them to deal with. So Doug, Phil and Stu decide that sending him to a rehab facility in Arizona so he can fix his problems. On the way their The Wolfpack gets ran off the road by some crazy people in pig masks and then abducted and brought to an unknown location were Black Doug ,Mike Epps, and Marshall , John Goodman, tell them The underground bunker is controlled by a neutral faction called the Rangers. You play as a man named Artyom, who is a member of the rangers. After being summoned by your commander, you are given a mission to kill the one remaining creature from an elite group of dark ones. This particular group of dark ones has an unknown Psychic power which is believed to have dangerous capabilities. You find the dark one on the surface, but to your surprise it is only a baby dark one. In pursuit of the elusive dark one you fall victim to its psychic powers and black out. When you come to, you along with the dark one are being taken captive by Nazis. The Nazis interrogate you for information about the dark ones and the underground bunker you came from to no avail. In the midst of the interrogation a fellow captive busts loose and eliminates the Nazi soldier to help you escape the place. The dark one is the only way to save humanity from tearing itself apart piece by piece. You failed to kill the dark one and now it is lost to you in Nazi domain. Now the mission has changed, find the dark one and be the last light in humanity's darkest hour. Last light mixes a first person shooter, survival horror and adventure experience all together. Being a first person shooter the functionality is much like Call of Duty and that is the only similarity, being that it was made in another country. This game drips with Russian, so if you're a fan of Russian accents this is definitely the game for you. 4A Games immerses you in an amazingly bleak environment ranging from scarred earth to massive spider infested corridors. On the surface the weather changes are quick at times and can be even more catastrophic than an airplane falling out of the sky. The combat in "Last Light" is different than most, you have to be strategic and have smart tactics to stay alive. You can always come in guns blazing and decimate a room full of enemies, but what about the next room and the next room and the whole next station? Ammo and health supplies are not easily found forcing you to scrounge and scavenge for your own supplies to stay alive. There is always the stealthy route too, taking to the shadows and picking away at your opponents one by one or even being 100 percent nonlethal (to humans) if you wish. Artyom finds new weapons strewn about the metro either in a little tucked away stash left by a dead struggling survivor or from shops. With all the guns that you find you can upgrade them at the armories by adding attachments or even upgrading parts increasing damage and so on. That being said, "Metro Last Light" is superb. that Mr. Chow , Ken Jeong, has stolen 21 million dollars and he wants the Wolfpack to capture Chow and bring it back. Main Conflict. I feel as the movie had a very good change of pace as their was no major hangover scene as previous movies had. Like the second movie it was very dark but had a lot more death scenes which is okay I guess but overall I was impressed by the comedy that the wolfpack http://sfappeal.com Sarah Bartlett Staff Writer Molly Ringwald plays Claire Standish. This group of actors is nicknamed the 'Brat Pack'. In everybody else's eyes, John's a criminal, Andrew's an athlete, Brian's a brain, Allison's a basket case, and Claire's a princess. I think that every teenager that's either in high school or is going into high school should watch this movie. High schools can be much divided, and this movie teaches its viewers that everybody has their own story and is deeper than what their social clique makes them appear to be. This movie also shows that anybody can open up to each other and be friends, even if they're in different cliques. Another message hidden within 'The Breakfast Club' is that, no matter how different people may appear to be, we're all human and are essentially the same. We all have struggles, doubts, and insecurities. 'The Breakfast Club' is by far one of the best movies I've The Trilogy end with a bang, but can it beat the first two movies??? 'Metro Last Light': Bluffer Staffpick satisfying sequel 'Breakfast Club' (1985) Alec Sims Staff Writer "Metro Last Light" is one of the most satisfying sequels I have ever seen in gaming. Developer 4A Games picks up after THQ creating the anticipated continuation of the Metro 2033 story. Though the first game was based off of Dmitry Glukhovsky's book "Metro 2033, Last Light" doesn't follow Metro 2034. This game is guaranteed to satisfy Metro 2033 fans in almost every aspect. What it lacks in perfect game mechanics, it makes up for with an almost palpable atmosphere. "Metro Last Light" is a game that brings in a refreshing feeling to the typical apocalypse. It portrays an apocalypse that people aren't really used to. No fantasy missions, character creation, Intricate inventory menus, and dialogue trees; instead a somber feeling that an apocalypse isn't fun. It can be depressing, lonely, and scary. "Last Light" is set in a melancholy post-apocalypse where the surface of the planet has become a poisonous wasteland. The surface is so poisonous that it forces humans to retreat into the metro stations under Moscow. As if the poison wasn't enough the nightmare world above is inhabited by a mysterious race called "Dark ones" who prowl through the metro, civilizations new home. Under the earth there is also a war going on, over control of an underground bunker, between three main groups; the capitalist Anza, the Nazis, and the capitalist Reds. A superb sequal that is a must play! 'The Breakfast Club', directed by John Hughes, is a coming of age film that was released in theaters on February 15, 1985. Set in 1984, the movie features a group of five teenagers that are stuck in detention together all day on a Saturday. All five of them are from different social cliques. At first, they are indifferent to each other and judge each other based on their respective stereotypes. However, throughout the film, the five teenagers grow closer to one another and bond over their lives, even sharing their darkest secrets. They all discover that their stereotypes and social cliques do not define who they are, despite what others may think. Judd Nelson plays John Bender, Emilio Estevez plays Andrew Clark, Anthony Michael Hall plays Brian Johnson, Ally Sheedy plays Allison Reynolds, and ever seen. There are no plot holes, no confusing scenes, and all loose ends are tied up by the end of the film. This movie is a great representation of how different social cliques act towards each other and the kind of pressures that teenagers go through on a daily basis. It also adds a little tidbit about the kind of relationships some teenagers have with authority figures. In my opinion, 'The Breakfast Club' is one of the greatest movies ever made. I recommend this movie for all teenagers, although I wouldn't recommend it for younger audiences due to the amount of cussing and marijuana use present in the film. Takes detention to a whole 'nother level Imagination is key Zach Smith Staff Writer Imagination is something that has been and always will be a very powerful tool. However, the true strength of imagination is exemplified in the game "Scribblenauts". If you have played this game already then you know it is had been for only the DS and Wii, but now some genius somewhere decided to turn it into an app for the IPhone. If you've played this game, then you understand how awesome this is. But if you have not, you really don't know what you are missing. "Scribblenauts" is summed up with one simple sentence: anything you can think of, you can create. Such as a golden gentlemanly velociraptor. Or a literal flying pig. The levels in this app are relatively easy to do, but there are so many different ways to complete them. They also have different kinds of levels. For example, they have adjective levels. With these levels you have to come up with an adjective in front of a subject to please someone or get through 595 Antelope Blvd Red Bluff, CA 96080 (530) 529-6400 www.shopcrossroads.net Bring this ad to receive $10 off a pair of Miss Me Jeans. There are also levels where you are given a specific objective and it doesn't matter how you do it as long as you get it done. Some other cool little features of this app are things such as costume change. Unfortunately, the app only starts off with three costumes and the rest if them have to be bought for 99 cents. Also, there is the option to purchase all current and future add on levels. The app itself costs 99 cents and comes with a total if 5 worlds each one having 10 levels. This app is a fantastic and creative app that is really fun. This app is also a really good time waister. I suggest this app for your phone, whether this would be our first time playing it, or of you have already played it before. Great time waster!!!
