Born in Cleveland County, he was the son of Frank Hudson of Cleveland County and the late Coleen White Hudson. Charles was born in Rutherford County and was the youngest son of Roy and Fannie McGinnis Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey served our country in the U.S. Army.
