Deborah was the daugh- ter of the late Otis Graham and Wanda Smith Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Otis Graham. In addition to her husband, Rev. Danny Marshburn Mrs. Marshburn is sur- vived by her son, Chadwick Thomas Marshburn (Jan Christenson); her daughter, Christina Marshburn Abbate (Nick); her sister, Brenda Becker; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held January 3rd, 2021 at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tim Knotts offi- ciating. Interment followed at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Left to cherish wonder- ful memories are his wife, Cynthia Smith Guest of Grover, NC; step-father, Willis Way of Newark, NJ; two sons, Travis Smith (Misty) of Gastonia, NC and Cedric Smith of Grover, NC; two daughters, Tamisha Clark (Victor) of Lexington, NC and Tina Gist (Jaffray) of Kings Mountain, NC; two brothers, Keith Way and Willis Way, Jr. both of NJ; three sisters, Sharon Withrow (Tommy) and Karen Walton (William) both of Charlotte, NC and Rhonda Campbell of NJ; eight grandchildren. Brothers and sisters-in-law, James Smith, Jr. of Shelby, Rufus Smith (Geneva) of Grover, NC, Nathaniel Smith (Cassandra) also of Grover, Delores Turner (Eugene) of Kings Mountain, Janette Archie (James) of Grover, and Iva McClain of Kings Mountain. The funeral servives for Mr. Guest were private. MICHAEL "RANDY" DERRICK Michael "Randy" Derrick, 76, passed away, December 30, 2020 at Atrium Health Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Lawrence Derrick and Annabelle Wood Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joey Ledbetter; brother, Jerry Derrick; and sister, Gerri Porter. He is survived by his wife Joyce Mull Derrick of the home; son, Jeff Ledbetter and wife Tracy of Shelby; JOYCE ANN PENNER WRIGHT Joyce Ann Penner Wright, age 74 of County Line Road passed away, December 31, 2020 at Atrium Health Charlotte. Joyce was born in Gaston County to the late Lloyd Webb and Artie Beatrice Wells Penner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wesley Wright; and sister, Nancy Eaves. Survivors include her son, Mark Wright and wife, Billie of Bessemer City; daugh- ter, Tawana Wright and husband, Trent of Kings Mountain; four grandsons, two great granddaughters, and a brother, Lawson Penner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eargel Camp; son, Jerry Camp; broth- ers, Paul, Fred and Boyd Mellon; and sisters, Lillian Owens, Francis Robertson and Lounex Brown. She is survived by her sons, Douglas Camp and wife Emily of Shelby and Jimmy Camp of Kings Mountain, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sis- ters, Jeanette Jenkins, Polly Houston and Joyce George, all of Newton.
