A Man 3' blows away expectations 'Iron rts & Entertainment Page 4 May 17, 2013 This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat at all times Ceighlee Fennel Staff Writer The Iron Man legacy, which is a hugely popular and well known series, has a new epic addition. "Iron Man 3," directed by Zack Snyder, totally blew away the expectations I had going into this movie. I was worried that since it was the third movie in an amazing series, it might be a disappointment and a huge let down. My expectations were crushed and I loved the movie. "Iron Man 3" is considered an action, adventure, and sci-fi movie. "Iron Man 3" was overflowing with mind blowing action, humor, love, twists and excitement. The action is nonstop. You are kept on the edge of your seat the whole time. Also, the movie was packed with explosions! That and the mounting suspense keep you hooked and unable to stop watching the movie. Throughout the movie there are some pretty insane surprises that make the movie even more fun to watch. Of course, the characters were great, especially Tony Stark. Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., was an amusing, dramatic, and an overall fantastic character. Robert Downey Jr. did an incredible job with playing the Tony Stark role once again. In the film, you get to see deeper sides of Tony Stark when his desperation is the only thing he can hold onto. At the beginning of the film, there is a clip of Tony Stark's past as a lead-in for the setup and conflicts in the movie. When we are taken back to the present, Tony's live is thrown A&E Editor "Vine" is the new social networking app that is out for all the new smart phones. I mean with all the social networks that are out right now you're thinking how could there be another one? Well, the truth is that it isn't much different than the latest network called "Instagram." With "Instagram" you can follow you friends and all that junk of them posting pictures of funny acts in life or just some one's daily routine. See "Vine" is the same exact thing, but with a little twist to it. Instead of posting pictures you're now posting clips or videos that you have made of funny incidents or something that you just find interesting. You are able to create your own screen name and be as clever as you want with it such http://www.insidemobileapps.com as Watercooleross (follow me.) Or you can be dull and boring and just put your name and some numbers. Videos are extremely easy to record. You simply just go to you recording tab on "Vine" and touch the screen when you enemy is called the Manardin. Stark tries to protect the only thing he can't live without who is Pepper Potts, http://sfappeal.com 'Vine' like 'Instagram' with a twist Connor Ross into chaos. He has anxiety attacks from the time he spent with the Avengers, but his main problem and want to start recording. "Vine" also has the features just like "Instagram" where you can view what is trending in other places of the world. You are able to view others people "Vines" and see what things in their lives interest them. "Vine" hasn't caught on that much but I'm sure it will because "Vine" is fun and addictive, just don't be one of those people that posts non-stop and post funny stuff. I'm sure you will gain followers like crazy. Adding videos on your news feed... why not ? A&E Editor "Fall Down" is known as one of most classic addicting games of all times when the iPhone first came out. That was just the game that was played by everyone too see who would get the highest score. The game died down and everyone stopped playing until now. "Fall Down 2" has pooped up on the app store as the number one game. It isn't the same as the old fall down game with the green levels and red ball. Now you are able to purchase different back grounds and balls to play with, but the thing is that you must collect stars in the game to be able to purchase these items. There are also more/different power- ups that are available. Collecting them you can fall faster, go through walls, and get rainbow speed! There is a new challenge that is in the game. I mean its really annoying and frustrating, but it adds a new element to the game . There are now bombs that are scattered through-out the game. If you hit them your not going to die right away but it does slow you down a lot and the beam might kill you. "Fall Down 2" is a great game for pretty much anyone. It takes speed, skill and strategy to fall, just watch out for the bombs and move quickly so you won't die. Watch out for the bombs and collect those darn stars! 595 Antelope Blvd Red Bluff, CA 96080 (530) 529-6400 www.shopcrossroads.net Bring this ad to receive $10 off a pair of Miss Me Jeans. Bluffer Staffpick 'Teen Wolf' (1985) Owen Ritter Staff Writer As you may have thought by the title, no this is not that MTV series, come on, I'm better than that. No this is 'Teen Wolf', (1985), starring Michael J. Fox. 'Teen Wolf' is yet another classic 80's movie that is well worth the watch. As it is quoted on the cover," Michael J. Fox is back from the future in a new comedy," about Scott Howard, (Michael J. Fox). He plays an average high schooler who is sick of being bad at basketball, sick of the small town he lives in, and sick of not getting Pamela, (Lorie Griffin), the girl of his dreams. To top all of these problems, Scott finds out he is genetically a werewolf… WHAT!? Plot twist, man. Anyway, 'Teen Wolf' is an exciting adventure about the daredevil Scott and his problems revolving around his werewolfism. As he gains popularity, his childhood friend, Boof, (Susan Ursitti), is disappointed in his envelopment in fame. Scott must choose between Boof and Pamela. The situation becomes quite hairy… as Scott is sucked into tainted high school popularity. 'Teen Wolf' has its dramatic "Fall Down 2" is addicting as ever Connor Ross played by Gwyneth Paltrow. All the while, he takes risks and eventually a catastrophe strikes and he is forced to hide and recuperate. Even when Stark is trying to figure things out in hiding, his enemies find him. Throughout the movie, there are more epic battles and the director finished off the film perfectly. In Iron Man 3 there were references made to the Avengers that I had really hoped they would include and they were. It was just really fun and interesting how all the movies in the series had their own story lines, plus the newer Avengers movie, but they all fit together in a way. The next movie coming out with Iron Man in it is Avengers 2. parts, but they are broken up my cheesy jokes and situations. A lot of the movie consists an overall laugh at the things Scott and his friends get into, though it is sad to see him become overwhelmed by the beast inside. 'Teen Wolf' is a definite classic 80's comedy, too cheesy to be a drama. You and your friends will laugh the night away with this silly flick. Fox is most famous for his starring role in the' Back to the Future' trilogy. His character is not much different in 'Teen Wolf,' but the difference in dilemmas proves the two titles to be unique and special in their own ways. This movie has more of a high school setting than 'Back to the Future,' and deals with more real life problems. Not to say being a werewolf is anybody's real problem, but having to choose between friends and fame may be a difficult decision for some. http://freedom.sumy.ua A definite classic 80s flick. Fact of the Issue Charlie Sheen turned down the role of Daniel LaRusso in the old Karate Kid movies.
