Born in Lincoln County, NC on December 3, 1933, he was the son of the late Cleo Sloan Elliott and Blanche Mae Hudgins Elliott. He served our country in the US Army. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Barbara Tiddy Elliott; a daughter, Jeanie Elmore of Fallston; two grandchil- dren, Elliott Newton and wife, Tonya and Carrie Timms and husband, Joshua and five great-grandchildren, Austin Newton, Cash Timms, Ellie Timms, Aaliyah Sain and Trevor Watts. A Graveside Service was held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Fallston Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Blanton officiating. LYNDA PHILLIPS WHITE Mrs. Lynda Phillips White, 71, of 161 Bunny Trail, Blacksburg, SC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Spartanburg, SC. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of the late Charles Wayne White and daughter of the late Lewis and Dorothy Phillips. ELOISE GRIGG HUFFSTETLER Eloise Grigg Huffstetler, 91, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2020. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Hubert and Carrie Davis Grigg and was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Jack Huffstetler and her children, David Huffstetler, Jackie Holder and Sheila Alexander. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry, Bud, Sam and Gene Grigg and her sisters, Helen Moss and Ruby Ellis. Survivors: Daughters: Carolyn Camp and Brenda Hollifield, both of Kings Mountain, NC; Sister: Faye McInnes, Kings Mountain, NC; Caretaker and grand- daughter: Sherri Black, and husband Mike, Summerville, SC; Daughter-in-law: Marilyn Huffstetler, Gastonia, NC; Fourteen Grandchildren Thirty Great Grandchildren; and Thirty-Three Great- Great Grandchildren. PEGGY DELLINGER BENANTI Peggy Dellinger Benanti unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her home in Scottsdale AZ. She was the daughter of John and Minnie Dellinger of Cherryville; sister of Matthew Dellinger of Cherryville, Clement Dellinger of Granite Falls, NC, Emily Dellinger Murray Stephens of Atlanta, GA and the late Norma (Mrs. David) Dellinger Bridges of Cherryville. She is survived by her hus- band, Harry; Son, Richard Benanti of New York; her daughters, Stephanie Benanti Gracia of Dallas, TX and Carol Benanti Gangi of Scottsdale, AZ; and six grandchildren and one great grandchild. LYNN BRIGHT HENDERSON Lynn Bright Henderson, age 53 of Ellenboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. She is survived by her two daughters, Ashley Philbeck and husband Gary of Shelby, NC, and Amanda Greene of Rutherfordton, NC, four grandchildren, Easton Philbeck, Landon Philbeck, Reagan Philbeck, and Grayson Philbeck. Born March 2, 1967 in DAVID WAYNE RANDALL David Wayne Randall, age 62, of Cherryville, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1958 in Cleveland County to Oleen Payne Randall and the late Bergan Randall. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, David Wayne Randall, Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Carr Randall; daugh- ter, Crystal Baugham; son, Charles Lucas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Kathy Randall, Kenny and Sherry Randall, and Doug and Jo Randall; grandchildren, Addison Randall, Cameron Lingerfelter, Bryson Baugham, Skylar Baugham, Jaxon Lucas, and Andrew Lucas; and great grandchild, Leon Strawn. All services will be private. MELINDA WOOD GOSSETT Melinda Wood Gossett, age 51, of Mooresboro, passed away, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Melinda was born January 1, 1969 in Rutherford County to the late Jerry Wood and Sue Shires. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Terry and Frank Wood and a sister, Susan Terry Kennedy. Ned was born on January 2, 1935 in Gaston County, NC son of the late Lional Sylvanus Costner and Virgie Ora Hoyle Costner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Lawrence Edward Costner and a half-sis- ter, Beulah Costner Blanton. Survivors include his nieces and a nephew, Brenda Fitch and husband Dewey; Ella Grigg and husband Ray; and a nephew Marty Costner all of Cherryville and Janie Kirby and husband Bruce of Florida.
