ARC of Pike County and Gibson County to merge The ARC of Pike County and The ARC of Gibson County will merge on July 13 to become The ARC South- west Indiana. A news release states: "Both agencies have enjoyed a mutu- ally beneficial relationship over the last 30 years, most recently with executive oversight from Stan Keepes, who will remain as CEO of The ARC Southwest Indiana." ARC officials said, "The individu- als we serve will notice no change in services provided. As a private 501(c) 3 non-profit, all community members currently serving on both Board of Directors have agreed to continue to serve as one Board of Directors going forward." "The merger brings together two highly successful agencies that will be able to offer more unique opportu- nities for community employment, in- tegration and rehabilitation services for people with different abilities," said CEO Keepes.
