Sidney "Sid" Toney, age 79, of Forest City, NC, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2019. He was born to the late TB Toney and Maude Holland Toney. In addition to his parents, he was preced- ed in death by his brother, Grayson Toney. Mr. Toney is survived by his wife, Gail Bailey Toney; three sons, Jeff Toney (Lynette) of Spartanburg, SC, Greg Toney (Glenna) of Asheville, NC, and Mike Carswell of Forest City; two daughters, Michelle Bolding of Athens, AL and Lisa Nelson (Josh) of Denver, NC; brother, David Toney (Judy) of Forest City; and fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late Ross and Irene Dill Lowman.
