"Gift of the Holy Spirit" Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Everybody welcome to all services. Jesus loves you. God did so many wonderful and miraculous things. Worship was powerful. The anointed Word was overwhelming. The move of the Holy Ghost was experienced and felt by everyone. There were spiritual chains broken, walls torn down and new foundations formed. There were healings, physically and spiritually. I personally have never quite experienced a revival such as this. I am expecting great things to happen as a consequence of this revival. Sol is very opinionated and will talk back to you, even when you've not spoken. He is a wonderful companion despite his all-knowing and vocal nature. He loves to be involved in whatever action is taking place in the office at PAWS. Sol is a handsome tigerstripped tabby with thick, plush fur and striking green eyes. He will likely be the type of cat that will greet you when you get home each day and let you know what he did all day. It is also suspected that he loves to read or at least look at the pictures as he can often be caught with a book in paw. Sol is neutered, has all his shots and can be adopted for $30. He would be a lively addition to any cat-loving family. To adopt Sol, call 3549894 or come by and have a chat with him and he will tell you all his attributes. and experience with Jesus. We should have a constant desire to follow and serve the Lord. The Psalmist David says it well in Psalm 42:1, "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God." A Jesus born in sin or subsequently guilty of sin couldn't have atoned for sin. The Lord Jesus Christ will never be understood by those who don't see Him as the Savior. "I don't think there will be any problem," said the doctor, "This operation is routine. We can even use a local anesthetic." "No," shouted the millionaire. "Don't use a local. Get something imported." That's what Jesus is, "something imported" or someone imported. A hymn puts it like this: "There was no other good enough to pay the price of sin; He only could unlock the gate to heaven and let us in." His birth was miraculous, the only one of its kind in history. It was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14, 700 years before it happened. But even more startling than that is John's declaration, "The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." That meant one thing, that Jesus was born to die. They trust Him to feed and clothe them, but they don't trust Him to feed and clothe them very well. He said in Matthew 6 that God would clothe us better than He clothed Solomon. "And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God" Deuteronomy 28:2). First Timothy 6:17 says, "He giveth us richly all things to enjoy." God is a loving God. He gets great pleasure from blessing His children. He's extravagant where we're concerned. But, don't let that worry you. He can afford it. You are invited to join us for any or all our services. God loves you and so do we.
