Inside There is an adjacent lounge patio and a walking trail where you can enjoy a relaxing waterfall. Pumpkinland offers seasonal activities — for that you need just speak with one of their chocolate connoisseurs. Roadside fruit vendors and truck farmers punctuate the highway as it passes through prolific acreage — the largest of which are Julia's (528- 8754) and Burlison's (209- 2108) fruit stands [TT-6.4]. In addition to freshly harvested local fruits these stands pro- vide seasonal vegetables, jams, jellies, and other nutri- tious snacks. Another mile down the road is Sherry's antique shop (529-3542) [TT-7.5] where you can see and purchase many items that served the frontier homesteading needs of early settlers as well as more gently used accoutrements of bygone days. Keep your eyes peeled for a grey 1951 Willy's pick-up truck stopped short of the highway [TT-9.1] with a sign for Bianchi Orchard Walnut Shop (527-9157). This shop features delicious nat- ural chandler walnuts, honey, cinnamon, & caramel glaze walnuts, chocolate walnut clusters, local products, gift boxes and more. It Country Haven at the Red Barn tempts antique collectors in addition to offering local products. will be well worth your time to turn here, drive to the middle of the 60 acre working walnut and prune orchard, and visit with long-time orchardists Ann and Ray Bianchi or their daughters who will treat you to sample their walnuts and prunes and tempt you to take some products with you. Back on the southbound highway you will soon see signs for the aptly named Country Haven at the Red Barn (384-0345) [TT-9.4].
