It is at the end of its useful life. e replacement of the water main will convert the water main into a transmission main from the wellfield to the new water treatment plant. e total amount of CDBG funds to be requested is $480,000. e amount of CDBG funds proposed to be used for activities that will benefit low- and moderate-income persons is at least $259,200 (54%). e Applicant also proposes to expend an estimated $120,000 in non-CDBG funds on the project. ese non-CDBG funds will be derived from the following sources: City of Petersburg Water and Local Income Tax funds or other local funds. e City of Petersburg will hold a public hearing on September 23, 2019 at 6:30 P.M.
