In her second book, "Becoming a Woman Who Knows God by Name," the Charlotte resident shares how knowing who God is can uphold us even when life doesn't turn how the way we expected. A strawberry and candied pecan mixed green salad will be followed by grilled chicken in basil cream sauce accompanied by new red potatoes with toppings, a vegetable medley, and yeast rolls with honey-cinnamon butter; dessert will be an orange pound cake topped with orange-laced whipped cream.
