Braga Fresh Introduces Two New Josie's Organics Chopped Salads Braga Fresh, a visionary leader in the organic fresh produce industry, recently announced the debut of two new organic chopped salad kits under their Josie's Or- ganics product line: Organic Sweet Kale Chopped Salad and Organic Asian Chopped Salad. Josie's Organics Sweet Kale Chopped Salad is a delicious mix of organic kale, green cabbage, broccoli and radicchio. The organic toppings included in the kit, roasted pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and poppy seed dressing, add sweet and savory elements to this mild chopped salad. Josie's Organics Asian Chopped Salad kit is a craveable and crunchy combination of organic green cabbage, celery, carrots, cilantro and green onions, plus organic almonds, sesame seeds, wonton strips and tangy sesame dressing. Consumer tasting panels were big fans of the ingredient combina- tions. Today's discriminating organic consumers will also appreciate the premium quality, convenience and meal options these organic chopped salads bring to their healthy lifestyles. The easy-open bags offer an extra level of convenience and provide an even greater premium experience. Both salads are merchandised in the signature Josie's Organ- ics blue polka dot bags; this brings added value to retail- ers with their bright color palette and award-winning graphic design that stands out on shelf. Braga Fresh also uses revolutionary tech- nology that extends product shelf life and an innovative structural design allowing retailers to display addi- tional facings in the same amount of space. Knowing that value-added products and organics are what's driving consumer purchasing and fueling growth in the produce department, Braga Fresh is continuing to devel- op a comprehensive product line of organic chopped salads, and already has more flavor profiles in trial. Braga Fresh is also creating custom salads for retail partners, and in addition to the chopped salad kits, has seven more Josie's Organics salads planned for debut later this year. The new Braga Fresh state-of-the-art processing facility in Salinas, Califor- nia has been designed and engineered with the most advanced and innovative food safety and technology in mind for comprehensive field-to-fork traceability. Braga Fresh has hired the perfect team to assure customers and consumers receive the quality they have come to expect from the company since 1928. Braga Fresh sells organic and conventional fresh veg- etables to the retail market under the labels Josie's Organics and Braga Farms.
