To register, please contact the Neal Senior Center at 704- 482-3488. C O R N E R C O R N E R You are invited to the volunteer orientation meeting on September 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm. The volunteer orientation is very important in a number of ways. First of all, it is mandated by the state to go over with the volunteers many of the requirements and trainings that are needed. Second, it is a really good way to learn all about the Senior Center and staff because the staff will have displays and will explain about their department and will be available to answer any questions you may have. Third, you will learn what is new and what changes the Senior Center has made. And fourth, it a good way to meet new volunteers. I really encourage you to come and bring a friend whose time and talents we could use at the Senior Center. Thank you for all you do, the Senior Center and all the services could not be provided without your support. Thanks again and hope to see you on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016. Lori Livingston, Volunteer Coordinator (704) 482-3488. The cost for medical equipment can be pretty high, especially if you only need the equipment for a short period of time. The Senior Center has some medical equipment that can be loaned to seniors in Cleveland County. We have wheelchairs, potty chairs and walk- ers that can be loaned out. If you, or someone you know, need any of this equipment, and you know that you are going to need it for a short time you can contact the Services Department at 482-3488 for more information. If you would like to donate medical equipment to The Senior Center, please contact the Services Department at 704-482-3488. Medical Equipment Join us Friday, August 26 th and September 23 rd for fun and fellowship as we present, Board Game Friday.
