There's a unique kind of storm shaping up this weekend, one that makes the weatherman pretty excited! This one has a lot of elements to it, and will be a high impact event for the Deep South and East Coast when all is said and done. A strong low pressure will begin to develop in the eastern part of Texas by Friday, pulling in Gulf moisture quickly. So heavy rain and thunderstorms will erupt quickly down there, and then the storm begins to aim right for us. Unfortunately, severe weather looks likely for some areas, as a squall line develops. Tornadoes, hail, high winds... it's all in there. This storm will deepen and get strong as it comes our way, and will spread the works across us. Heavy rains, thunderstorms, winds, and eventually turning pretty cold for April early next week as the storm matures to our north. Get ready now for indoor activities since Mother Nature will be putting on quite a show this week- end! Hopefully we avoid another frost next week, but it will definitely turn colder.
