Pike Central Middle School student Joseph PCMS student wins first in Crane Science Fair School student Joseph Het- man has brought home a trophy and $75 after taking first place in the 29th Annu- al Team Crane Science Fair at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Crane. Hetman was entered in Pike Central Middle By Mike Johansen the Junior Division in Chem- istry and Biochemistry area of expertise. He was one of 200 students participating in the Junior and Senior Di- visions. The participants submit- American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), present- ed the award for Best Engi- neering Principles. Hetman brought home a gold plaque and a check for $75 for his efforts. His project was to con- ted their self-made proj- ects for judging at the NSA Crane gymnasium for a chance to win awards and cash prizes from multiple sponsoring organizations and private donors.
