A small group will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednes- day every two weeks instead of every week. Sunday, Dec. 27 – There will be a fellowship dinner following morning worship in the Family Life Center in honor of Ellen Jones to thank her for her years of dedication to the church. The church will provide the meat and drinks. Bring a covered dish or dessert. Monday, Dec. 28 – Ladies' Christmas party at 6 p.m. in the Life Center. Bring finger foods. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that God raised Jesus from he dead. Jesus take control of my life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be. Amen! Lord, I accept my sins are forgiven by faith in the Word of God and Jesus' blood. His dying for me on the cross and God raised Jesus from the dead. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger'" (Luke 2:10 -12). The shepherds hurried to Bethlehem and found the sign to be true. Jesus the Lord of the universe born of a woman, born of a virgin, took on flesh and dwelt among mankind. Not only was Jesus born according to Scriptures, "Christ also died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scrip- tures" (I Corinthians 15:3, 4).
