Need help with Supplemental Plans? Trying to decide which Prescription Drug Plan is best for you? We can help with all your insurance needs, including: • Long-Term Care • Final Expense • Life Insurance • Affordable Care Act Contact your local agent: Manfred Luedge Why Medicare Is Not Enough C ongratulations! You're about to turn 65. You're looking forward to your retirement. Finally you're getting rid of your unbelievably expensive health insurance and you'll be enrolled in MediCare Part A (for hospital care) and Part B (for outpatient medical). No more worries! Really? Think again: MediCare Part A has a deductible of almost $ 1,200.00. Part B has a deductible of almost $ 150.00 and a monthly premium of more than $ 100.00. And that's not all: there's almost no coverage for prescription drugs included in Part A and Part B. It gets worse. Even with MediCare- approved procedures, you're responsible for about 20 percent of covered costs. That can add up to unmanageable amounts of medical expense. What to do? Get free advice from a local agent! There are so many choices; it's an amazing maze. Don't get lost. Get guidance! Is a MediCare Supplement plan right for you? Or are you better off with a MediCare Advantage plan (also known as Part C)? What about prescription drugs? Have you heard that there can be a penalty down the road if you don't buy Part D at the time your Part B becomes effective? It gets complicated! A licensed local agent will be able to help you make an educated and informed decision on what's best for your particular situation. I suggest you find someone you can trust and who has more than one plan available for you, so they're not pushing the one product they have on you, but can objectively point out your choices!
