When a freak snowstorm sends her car spiral- ing out of control and sends her plunging into a bitterly cold body of water, it's clear that her life is at an end. Something unex- plained happens, though, and she survives the accident, but it soon becomes apparent that whatever happened to her that night has stopped her from ag- ing. Eight decades later, Adaline is still a 29-year-old woman who's spent her life on the run. Now, though, she's drawn the ro- mantic attentions of a handsome philanthropist (Huisman).
