Doug Hull, Athletic Programs Supervisor Retires after 34 years Doug retired on July 31, 2015 after 34 years of service to the City of Shel- by Parks & Recre- ation Department. The thing Doug is most proud of is " being able to touch so many kids lives" and follow them as they become adults. Doug has seen kids come through our pro- grams and then their kids and in the last few years, their grandchildren come thru our pro- grams. Doug is married to Tina and they have 2 children Nathan & Nicole, and 5 grandchildren. Doug looks forward to spending time with his family and also is an avid Shelby High Golden Lion, North Carolina Tarheel, Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboy fan. Even though Doug has retired, we still look forward to Doug being around the Park and our programs.
