2490 S. Main St., Red Bluff Jacob Stroman, Doctor of Physical Therapy Jacob Stroman is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He completed his doctoral studies at University of the Pacific in 2014. Prior to his enrollment there, he received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2012 from California State University, Chico. At CSU, Chico, he worked as a teaching assistant for the Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning classes. Jacob graduated with honors from both universities. Jacob has a wide variety of Physical Therapy skills, including but not limited to: Manual orthopedic therapy, proprioceptive and neurological facilitation techniques, and therapeutic exercise prescription for all populations and activity levels. jacob also practices patient-centered care tat focuses on each patient's unique functional mobility and movement goals. Jacob has a broad range of experiences in Physical Therapy practice, from outpatient orthopedics to acute rehabilitative settings. He believes strongly in teamwork, communications, education, evidence-based practice, and therapeutic exercise to enrich lives and achieve health, fitness and functional mobility goals. jacob works diligently and innovatively to ensure the highest quality care for his patients. Kyle Tingley, CSCS Kyle is originally form Sparks, Nevada. He has worked at PTWC since 2006. During his undergraduate studies he played collegiate baseball at York College in Nebraska. In 2005 Kyle moved to Chico, California to finish his undergraduate degree at CSU, Chico. Kyle has a master's of science degree in Exercise Physiology with and emphasis in Rehabilitation Sciences from CU, of Pennsylvania. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). Kyle is passionate about rehab, movement science/corrections, as well as general fitness for all ages. In his spare time he enjoys strength and movement training specifically for golf. When Kyle is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, mountain biking, and fishing. Kyle is married and has two children. Mike Dausse, MA, PTA Mike attended California State University, Chico and received a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Physiology. He then continued on and earned a Master's of Art in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. In 2000, Mike lost the battle with his filet knife, thus becoming a hand patient of the Physical Therapy and Wellness Center which sparked his interest in physical therapy. Mike started working at Tehama Family Fitness Center in the summer of 2002 doing fitness evaluations. He then transferred over to the Wellness Center in the spring of 2003. Mike then started the necessary steps to obtain his Physical Therapy Assistant's license. In his spare time, Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Karla Reilly, PTA Karla is the senior member of our therapy team at the Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. She has provided services to the Red Bluff community for 25 years. Karla obtained her PTA license in 1988 and has furthered her experience and education after achieving her PTA degree. Karla is certified in performing myofascial release (MFR) and specializes is soft tissue treatments. She has spent seven years full time in acute care and now enjoys a combination of out patient and in patient treatments. Additionally, Karla is self taught in treatment of hands spending much of her time working with traumatic hand injuries. Karla enjoys educating patients and progressing patients towards wellness through exercise and manual therapy techniques. She believes time invested in educating her patients allows successful independent management of pain and functional loss. Out side the office she enjoys ranching, gardening, camping and boating with her husband Tim. Heidi Belden-Kelnhofer Heidi is the Aquatic Coordinator for the Physical Therapy & Wellness Center and Tehama Family Fitness Center. Heidi spends her day organizing aquatic classes, learn-to-swim programs and working with physical therapy patients. Heidi graduated from CSU Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration. She has a Teaching Credential for the California Community Colleges and certifications that include Aquatic Exercise Association, Arthritis Foundation. Heidi is also a Water Safety Instructor through the Red Cross and a Certified Pool Operator. The therapeutic exercise side of aquatics has been her focus and Heidi believes the water environment provides "life changing results". Heidi enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, snow skiing, and water sports. The staff at Physical Therapy and Wellness is diverse and talented as indicated by the spectrum of certifications, degrees and post-graduate education.
