We've already had an incredible November, and it's not over yet. The nation is being beseiged with storm after wild storm, and we have yet another to contend with. The timing of it just barely misses our Thanksgiving Holiday, but by the weekend I imagine millions of travelers in the South and Midwest are going to be fighting the weather. Two strong storms will combine into one massive and I mean HUGE storm in the Tennessee Valley by Sunday. All sorts of things are coming together to give this one a real wallop to it. Strong winds will overtake the Southeast states late Saturday night combined with heavy torrential rains. There might even be another round of tornadoes somewhere nearby. Colder air will usher in by late Sunday and next week, putting an end to warm weather. The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce is guaranteeing every sold ticket is a winner this year at the annual Reverse Raffl e. Ten percent of the net profi t on the Raffl e goes to local charities and community projects. The remaining ninety percent of the proceeds is spent on operating the Chamber of Commerce, promoting the county to visitors and those seeking to come here with a business or to set up residence. The Raffl e also collects toys for the Salvation Army's Christmas Cheer program.
