It's also the big- gest food holiday of the entire year, which is a blessing in it- self for some. Maybe you're an old pro at this and you're thinking of adding a new twist to the tra- ditional fare. Maybe you're hosting your first Thanksgiv- ing meal and are looking for some tips -- such as how much time to allow for a fro- zen turkey to defrost thor- oughly. Either way, the Food Network has lined up specials and episodes throughout this week to help you prepare for the big day. On Sunday, Nov. 20, Food's stars are set to go live and walk viewers through some of the common pitfalls of holi- day meal-making. The special "Thanksgiving Live" aims to guide viewers through every step required to produce the perfect meal, whether its recipes or tech- niques. Host Alton Brown and Food regulars Ted Allen, Sun- ny Anderson, Anne Burrell, Melissa d'Arabian, Bobby Flay, Alex Guarnaschelli and Rachael Ray will also field questions from viewers. Viewers can submit their questions via Facebook, Twit- ter (use #FNThanksgiving), or during the broadcast using Skype (Username: FoodNet- workThanksgiving). And it seems Brown will be a busy man that day – he re- unites with his "Good Eats" Don't give your ad the wrong kind of shelf life.
