Appointments should be made to receive prompt assistance. Service will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays through April 14th. We will also provide service on Tuesday, April 15th. Appointments will begin at 9:00 AM and be scheduled at 30 minute intervals with the last appointment being scheduled for 3:30 PM. Council On Aging Senior Games 2014 Senior Games is an exciting health promotion program for adults 50 years of age and better. There are a wide range of sports designed for individuals at various fitness levels. Some of these sports include bowling, tennis, track, softball, basketball, swimming, horseshoes, croquet, cornhole, billiards, and more. Senior Games is sponsored by the Council on Aging of Cleveland County, Shelby Parks and Recreation, Dover YMCA, H. Lawrence Patrick Senior Center, and Gardner Webb University. Opening Ceremonies will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Gardner Webb University Spangler Stadium in Boiling Springs, N.C. Senior Games will be held April 7 th – 11 th . The public is invited to attend. There is NO COST to attend any of the sporting events. Event Schedules for the week will be accessible at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center Front Desk and by website at www.nealseniorcenter.org.
