Photos by Genevieve Pedulla More than 300 people braved tundra-like conditions Saturday, Feb. 19, to take the plunge into a freezing Goodyear Lake for the 16th annual Polar Bear Jump. The event raised $78,000, with money still coming in, according to event organizers Brenda and Jamie Waters. The money was distributed to nine children and young adults, as well as the Portlandville United Methodist Church, the Milford Fire Department and Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care.
