Men and women entered the contest, and real and faux facial hair was eli- gible for being rated by an all-female panel of judges. Ginger-bearded Chris Lott, also 2010 Beardoff Champion, organized the event with the help of Ned Brower, who was in charge of entertainment, and Marissa Hughes and Molly Mack, who set up every- thing for the judges. The event raised $1,115 for the Polar Bear Jump, which is Saturday at Goodyear Lake. For more information, visit www.pbjump.com. Third-place winner of the Other category Lisa Ryther is assessed by one of the Beardoff judges. Judges rated contestants in categories such as full- ness, shape and awesomeness, among others.
