Students voted to determine which three of 10 teachers would be shaved during lunch, with Bestor, Dan Simonson and physical education teacher Brian Adamczyk becoming the lucky winners. Charles Auer/Freeman Staff Walking in my shoes DELAFIELD – St. John's Northwestern Military Academy middle school social studies teacher Tommy Resch talks with some of his cadets Wednesday morning after the Walk a Mile in My Shoes anti-bullying event at the school. Middle school students at the school came up with the idea to get cadets together and talking with a mile-long walk after a discussion on cyberbullying in computer class. Cadets were partnered with a cadet they did not know well to walk a mile together on the campus track and complete the school's obstacle course together.They were given a theme to discuss during the walk to help build camaraderie between cadets outside their circle of friends. Cadet Emilio Ornelas said after the event, "I've seen a lot of kids get along with other kids and they were helping each other in the obstacle course. It went better than we thought it would."
