The downtown Princeton store offers what owners Sonya and Todd Teal call "The Seven Cs:" Chocolates, Coffees, Cakes, Cookies, Candy, Cola and Comfort Foods. Although Teel's Seven Cs opened in Princeton in March 2013, the store began as The Chocolate Kitchen in the Fort Branch area. "While we loved being close to our Owensville home," Sonya explained, "our new location gave us an opportunity to rename our business to better reflect the wide variety of foods we offer." They offer everything from baked goods (pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes and cookies) to regular and diabetic chocolates, hand-molded chocolate specialty items, to loose-leaf and bagged teas, to frozen yogurt and ice cream, to a great selection of sandwiches: including grilled rib-eyes, grilled pork chops, barbecue pork, and chicken or ham salad. If you want breakfast, you can choose from breakfast sandwiches to biscuits and gravy to muffi ns. One of the best-selling items in the store is their more than 50 different varieties of gourmet fl avored coffee beans in both regular and decaf. You may also have the beans ground in the store. Chocolate specials include Chocolate Pizza (a good fund-raising item for teams, Scouts, etc.), homemade fudge, chocolate bacon (a favorite that nearly always sells out quickly) to Todd's own creation "Dirt Clods" (clusters of pecans, cashews and almonds dipped in milk or dark chocolate). Candy makers can fi nd bulk chocolate and molds for candy making. Other in-store services include gift baskets, specialized candy bars for weddings, company parties, holiday parties, baby showers, etc. Also available are mini moldings for baby showers and other special events. After you've purchased your special gift, Teel's offers Leanin' Tree cards to complete your order. During this holiday season, you will fi nd a number of holiday coffees, teas and hot chocolates that would be perfect for gifts and stocking stuffers.
