Dr. Frey had offices on the top floor. 1927 - New Post Office built 1945 - For over 30 years Minch's Appliance and Hal's Appliance and Hardware occupied both buildings. 1956 - The last person to live above the stores was Mrs. Eva M. Gill until she moved to the Tremont Hotel. 1975 - Mr & Mrs John Crosby bought 423 Walnut and ran Crosby's Jewelry and Hearing Aid Service until 2001. 1990 - Our own Cheryl Bonham started working with Crosby's and has continued her extraordinary service with the Gold Exchange. 1994 - Rudy Christians moved his business to Red Bluff and purchased the building at 413 Walnut. He bought out Mrs. Crosby and extended the Gold Exchange to both buildings in 2001. This was pieced together as best we could from the sources that we could find. We are doing a Makeover.
