Graham St, Shebly, NC. "Lighting the Tree" Crouse United Methodist Church/CUM Outreach Class sponsors and Pat Heafner, member of the Outreach Class, says that 2023 will see the tradition continued. Last year 100% of donations, collected through this Outreach project, went to Christian Ministries of Lincoln County. The tree will be up the week following Thanksgiving and will be in the Crouse United Methodist Church Gazebo. The lights will be turned on for the Crouse community to enjoy. Each light on the tree signifi es a loved one to be honored or remem- bered. C.A.R.E (Clifford's Army Rescue Extravaganza) will be there from 11;00 am to 2:00 pm with just a handful of the 100+ dogs they have in rescue and foster. C.A.R.E (Clifford's Army Rescue Extravaganza) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofi t, all volunteer, dog rescue organization.
