The younger man, now affiliated with the CIA, learns of a federal agent's involvement in human trafficking and goes out on his own to dismantle that operation. Ryan Robbins and Sayaka Akimoto play allies who also stay under the radar to help him. Also in the cast is Dennis Haysbert, who knows more than a bit about stories of government intrigue from his time on television's "24." ››› (R: AS, P, V) (Also on Blu-ray, Digital and On Demand) "NCIS: THE NINETEENTH SEASON" A major difference in this most recent round of the globally popular adventure-drama series was the general absence of the character Gibbs, since Mark Harmon signed off as a star of the show (though he remains among the executive producers). Whether he'll reappear in the upcoming 20th season remains to be seen, but here, Gary Cole succeeds him as the supervisory agent in charge of the team. One of the stories is a crossover with the spinoff "NCIS: Hawai'i." Katrina Law becomes a permanent member of the cast (well, as "permanent" as it gets on this series, since Emily Wickersham also left before this season started), joining returnees Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Rocky Carroll, Diona Reasonover and David McCallum. ››› (Not rated: AS, P, V) "THE MULLIGAN" A genuine legend in entertainment, singer and actor Pat Boone, has one of the central roles in this faith-based drama based on a book. He plays a veteran golfer who serves as a human compass of sorts for a businessman and motivational speaker (Eric Close, "Without a Trace") whose previously successful life takes a very sharp downturn. The golf pro gives him tips on improving his game, both figuratively and literally. Nancy Stafford ("Matlock"), Tanya Christiansen ("I Still Believe") and longtime CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz also appear. ››› (Not rated: AS) "AMERICA OUTDOORS: WITH BARATUNDE THURSTON" What is the effect of natural environments on those who work and play in them? That's the examination undertaken by author and outdoorsman Thurston in this recent PBS series, which takes him to various parts of the country over the six episodes, showcasing the pursuits of people in professions from wilderness pilot to coal miner (the latter pertaining to a group that later became beekeepers). In that way, the program also is a travel show of sorts, with an itinerary ranging from Appalachia to California. ››› (Not rated) "FEELING BUTTERFLIES" Real-life couple Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry, both of the series "When Calls the Heart," get to start their romance over in this sweet movie made for Hallmark Channel. Wallace plays a businesswoman who actually deals in marketing butterflies, which can be a challenging pursuit even in the best of economic times. Things pick up for her both personally and professionally when she meets an appealing single father (McGarry) while she's servicing a birthday party. Kathryn Kohut, Alyssa Gervasi and actress-singer Amanda Jordan co-star. ››› (Not rated: AS ) "SOUTH PARK: THE COMPLETE TWENTY-FOURTH SEASON" The typically timely, animated Comedy Central series from Trey Parker and Matt Stone proves again that it was on top of the headlines in this set, which includes pandemic-themed episodes that got very big viewership when originally televised. School is back in in-person session here, but the health crisis has caused numerous changes that the students – whose initial excitement over being together dissipates quickly – don't adjust to very easily. Ultimately, they travel into the future to try to save the world. This was a relatively brief season for the show, with all the stories written and directed by Parker, and it was followed by a 25th season that was only slightly longer. ››› (Not rated, AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray) "South Park" "I was gutted. I was really sad, because the sets are so unbelievably beautiful. I was like, 'No!' They had really gone for it. A lot of the branches and twigs would get stuck to my wig and (I'd) try and pull it off, which would have been an amazing outtake." – Natasia Demetriou of "What We Do in the Shadows" on FX, on a principal set being purposely wrecked for the show's purposes " s s I h lo tw m p h o D D o p s "We were able to understand the humor of these characters, while still empathizing with them and taking them seriously, because we have a little bit of perspective" – Nathalie Morris of "Bump" on The CW, on playing younger than her years in the series " u o w w t w p M T y t We are Medicaid Waiver approved.
